Job Description:
Crane Memorial Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Staff Radiologic Technologist to join our dynamic Imaging Department. As a Staff Radiologic Technologist, you will play a crucial role in providing quality radiographic images for medical diagnosis and treatment.
Qualifications:
• Completion of an accredited 2-year Radiology program.
• Associates Degree in Applied Science.
• Registered with ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) - mandatory 24 hours of continuing education every 2 years.
• Certified by the Texas Department of Health as a Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist - mandatory 24 hours of continuing education every 2 years.
• Recent experience in performing X-Ray and CT examinations.
Responsibilities and Expectations:
• Prepare and position patients for radiographic procedures.
• Perform X-Ray and CT examinations.
• Assist physicians with intravenous contrast media injections.
• Monitor patients throughout procedures.
• Adhere to safety procedures and regulations.
• Perform portable radiography as requested.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and examination rooms.
• Record patient data accurately and maintain confidentiality.
• Maintain inventory of supplies.
• Collaborate effectively with departmental staff, hospital staff, patients, families, and visitors.
