Job Title: PRN Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Summary:
Crane Memorial Hospital is seeking a PRN (as-needed) Staff RN to join our team. As a PRN Staff RN, you will provide essential nursing care when your expertise is required. Your responsibilities will include patient assessment, direct care, and collaboration with various departments to ensure the well-being of our patients. This position offers flexibility while allowing you to make a meaningful impact on our community.
Job Qualifications:
Education:
Graduate of a school of professional nursing.
Evidence of continuing education.
Personal Skills:
Demonstrate proficiency in nursing practice.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Licensure/Certification:
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse by the State of Texas.
Current CPR certificate required.
ACLS/PALS/NALS certification desirable.
Experience:
One year of general nursing experience.
Experience in emergency care preferred.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Clinical Skills:
Provide age-specific care, assessment, charting, and patient teaching.
Administer medications following hospital policy.
Act as a resource and role model for other staff.
Assume a leadership role in emergency situations.
Productivity:
Prioritize and delegate assignments effectively.
Adhere to shift schedules.
Utilize downtime efficiently.
Maintain awareness of unit status and respond to patient needs promptly.
