Job Summary:
Crane Memorial Hospital is seeking a reliable and skilled Part-Time Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, addressing urgent repair needs, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for our patients, staff, and visitors on all hospital properties.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct regular inspections of hospital facilities, identifying areas requiring repair or maintenance.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks that include but are not limited to painting, plumbing, electrical work, HVAC system checks, and carpentry.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs, ensuring minimal disruption to hospital operations.
• Assist with setting up and maintaining hospital equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed, materials used, and time spent.
• Collaborate with other departments to support hospital functions and address maintenance needs.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and tools.
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with hospital policies, safety regulations, and building codes.
Qualifications:
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair various types of equipment and systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Good communication skills and a customer-service-oriented approach.
• Must be able to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
